Challenge #215 easter

Hello!

I've now struggled through a really bad cold. I was totally knocked out for a week and because of that I had to pass last challenge at CCC.

But now I'm back and I'm so thrilled about this week's challenge EASTER at CCC. I've made an Easter Egg, with a romantic touch.

white gesso
guipure lace
pearl lace
lilac ribbon
white organza ribbon
lilac pearls
magnolia die
white feathers
pearl spary
lilac roses
dark lilac roses
magnolia roses/flowers white
magnolia vintage berries white/silver
 rolled roses
chrysanthemums white
lilies
vintage trinket crystal pin

I've painted an easter egg with white gesso. I used a sponge and dotted the paint on the egg. Since I used a transparent egg I needed two layers of gesso paint. And then I added lots and lots of embellishments.

The stuff I used for this project are most from LLC and WOC.Some are from PY Hobby, the Magnolia die is from somewhere else and the white feathers are from a grocery store nearby for just a few cents.

Challenges:
ABC-challenge - J for Just As You Like It (anything goes)
SimonSays - Anything goes
RRR - Flowers and ribbon #68

Happy Easter!

CASE at CCC

Hello!

This post was supposed to go live much earlier than this. But since it wasn't finished I did't want to schedule it. And then this really bad cold hit me. Luckily I'm temporary on my feet and I thought I might finish this post.

This week at CraftyCreationsChallenge you have to CASE IT. Each DT cased one of their own designs.

I chose to case a box I made in 2011. It's a very simple box with pockets inside where I store cue cards, which I use to pass the exams at University.

So, I figured that, beeing a student at the University, I might need another box for all my cue cards and why not make one very different this time?
